How will my shifts be organised?

Once you have applied and been accepted, you can log into your online account. This will be where we send you all the information you need about your role. Please regularly check your emails as we will also be contacting you via email.
Shifts are scheduled and allocated via the Team Online Application log in. We always allocate you to the days you choose on your form. If we decide we need you to work another day, we will send you an email asking if you can change days. Once your shifts has been allocated, we will display this on your overview page. This is usually around 1.5 weeks prior to the event.
Shift patterns vary depending on what role you have been given. Some roles require you to work longer than others but normally; you will do between 8-10 hours per day.
You are required to arrive on site at least the night before you first shift so please make sure you have allowed yourself plenty of time for travel.
For most roles, there will be a compulsory online training and orientation session. You will need to be a part of this session before you can serve on site.
There will also be a role specific briefing that you will need to attend each day you are working and a group team meeting for all volunteers which you will need to attend at least one over the event.
